I'm finishing up a modular top -- Carp from Marianne Isagar's Japanese Inspired Knits book. I started it last year, and pulled out the needles for something else. Decided to finish it and thought I had used the correct ones but now that I've finally joined the body and ready to start the sleeves, I see that my modules are a little different in size LOL. Well, I want this top finished by next week so I guess I'll keep going.
But my mind is more on finishing some charity lapghans. I've been pleasantly surprised at the feel of Paton's Decor in their variegated line. I was feeling good about using up several skeins of yarn on some afghans so I had to go and buy some more. Herrschner's had some yarn called Rozetti two-fold on sale -- $2.99 for a 100 g ball of worsted weight self-patterning yarn. I should get it next week. Hope it isn't too thin.
By the way, if you decide you want to try some order it by the ball instead of the 5-pack. I've been thinking of buying this yarn for a while for aome charity projects and what finally convinced me is that Herrschner's started to offer it in a 5-pack for about $32 yet they still have it by the ball for $2.99. Decided to order some while it still was cheaper by the ball.
