I've come across something I haven't seen and hoping someone can help. Here is part of the pattern and what I don't understand is the "+" in row #3:
(Multiple of 8 sts + 3)
Also see Chart.
Row 1: K2, *k2tog, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, ssk, k1; rep from * across to last st, k1.
Row 2 and all WS rows: Purl.
Row 3: K1, k2tog, *k1, yo, k3, yo, k1 +, dcd; rep from * across to last 3 sts,
ending last rep at +, ssk, k1.
Can someone let me know what this means?

Thank you so much KT! That helps more than you can know!
I now know where to come when I have any problems and get very thorough responses!
Again, Thank you!

Here's what the pattern says
Here's what the pattern says for Row 3: Row 3: K1, k2tog, *k1, yo, k3, yo, k1 +, dcd; rep from * across to last 3 sts, ending last rep at +, ssk, k1
Note that at the end of the instructions for this row it says "ending last rep at +" so the portion that is yo, k3, yo, k1 + the plus symbol is being used as the marker of where you end the last time you repeat this section of instructions.
