I'm crocheting the rose of Sharon tunic but having trouble decreasing as I'm not understanding the following:

I've figured out the dc2tog-skip1 but do not seem to decrease because I don't understand the "dc in same st as last leg of dc2tog-skip1". Help please. Thank you!
