Changing from DPNs to Flat knitting
Submitted by cathyia on Wed, 10/20/2010 - 07:17I'm working on a sweater for myself and have come to the point of making the sleeves. The pattern calls for knitting them on DPNs which I am not that comfortable with. (I've already tried and ended up frogging it).
What I want to know is, can I knit the sleeves flat and seam them up? If so, do I need to add a salvage stitch to each end of the sleeve when I cast on?
Here is the first part of the pattern.
Twisted Rib
Worked back and forth:
Row 1: [K1 tbl, p1] to end.
Row 2: [K1, p1 tbl] to end.
Repeat these 2 rows for Twisted Rib
