re: Pay not 90% - post from a couple of weeks ago

Someone posted a few weeks ago about not getting paid the full 90%. Her pay was short a couple of dollars. She also said other instructors in her store had the same complaint. I can't find the original post. It was in the middle of another topic, but something happened with a class in my second store last week which I think might explain this.

If the class is entered correctly by the manager, the class fee should be $25. My class last week had been entered with $23.50 as the class fee. This is the Wilton class fee. I think the manager entered my class as a Wilton class, instead of as a Non-Wilton class. If the class fee shows as $23.50 rather than $25, then the 90% we get paid would be short $1.35 per student, so for a 2 student class that's $2.70. If this amount agrees with the shortage in your pay, then maybe the manager in your store is entering all the classes as Wilton classes, rather than as Non-Wilton classes. Have them check and make sure the class fee is showing up as $25 and not $23.50 for your classes.
