Will someone give me a detailed explanation of each skill level. An example of the stitches would be helpful. The explanation from the Yarn Council is not that easy to understand to a beginner.

changing colors by pulling up long lp???

Hello,

I am currently working on baby booties that are striped.
The pattern states that at the end of a rnd done in sc to join with sl st in first sc. (Does this mean in the ch 1 at the beginning of the rnd?) Then it says pull up long lp to be picked up later.
After changing colors in the next two rnds and leaving long lps at the end of each rnd the pattern states: "pick up white from 2 rnds before last, ch2 (is not used or counted as a st), dc in next 9 sts."
