Pattern: Tuxedo-Front Pullover by Kimberly Kotary

Rep row 2 an 3 alternately until piece measures 16 inches from beg.

Q: Does this mean 16 inches from beg of row 1, or beg of entire project.

Skill Level on Pattern Marked Easy +; This is NOT the case!

PLEASE HELP!
I have been crocheting for 2 yrs. now and can crochet the different stitches nicely (I have been told). For this project (taken from Crochet magazine; Windmill Bag) I bought the beautiful yarn the pattern calls for and can and even enjoy stitching the FRONT and BACK POST SINGLE Crochet, the problem I have is the half-double crochet row, every other row, and the row starting off the fpsc and bpsc row starting and ending with a sc. This all tends to make the material ease to the right. I count stitches each row (I'm only dealing with 22 stitches each row).

Please Please Help! How do you do a dc3 tog?

Hi, I'm new to this site and am a self taught crocheter. I am trying to make a blanket. It wants me to DC3 tog over the next 3 chains, how do I do that? I have looked in my book-crochet for dummies and online on youtube trying to find out how to do that. I have tried it different ways and every time I get to the second row about 1/4 of the way through it starts puckering, not laying flat like in the picture. Here's exactly how this part of the pattern reads;

Help! Wrap with slits

This is a redheart pattern wr1811 and I'm confused on my center section in making the slits. I'm on the center sectionwhere I'm to join yarn in 17th st on row 21. Do I join before 17 or after 17? Then I'm to do 2 hdc which isn"t following the previous pattern. I've included a link to the pattern and any help for this new crocheter would be greatly appreciated!!
