After you have completed the foundation chain, the instructions say "working in bottom ridge lps", does this mean work in the chain as usual?
Pattern reads:
Work a shell in each of next 7 shells, sk next dc of same shell(where last shell was just worked, dc in next dc, leave rem sts unworked = 7 shells,. Ch 3, turn.
What is this telling me to do?
Thanks for any help
i ran across pattern that used the following brackets {} [] () i am totally confused how to follow the directions
I am on the 12th line in my baby-blanket and am totally stumped.
Directions for this line says:
ch3, skip first 2 dc and ch-1 sp, [dc in next dc, ch 1] 3 times,* (dc, ch 2, dc) all in ch-2 sp [ch 1, dc in next dc] twice, ch 1 **, dec over next 5 sts (skip next ch, dec, and ch), ch 1, [dc in next dc, ch 1] twice; rep from * to last 4 sts, end at **; dc iin next dc, skip next 2 sts, dc in top of ch-3; turn.
I am okay all the way up until the first **. Every possibility I could come up with did not get me far enough in my pattern to repeat and be on track.
I cannot figure out what this pattern is saying "working in front of next ch-1 sp, dc in skipped st 2 rows below" http://www.caron.com/projects/ss_chunky/ssc_crochet_elf_slippers.html
I want to crochet these elf slippers but wasn't sure if I need to star with geometric pattern first or slipper? Please help http://www.caron.com/projects/ss_chunky/ssc_crochet_elf_slippers.html
Hello everyone,I am an intermediate crocheter. I am attempting a beautiful sweater by DROPS design. It is pattern 121-33 and these are the particular instructions I don't understand:
Continue with 1 dc in each dc. When piece measures 16-17-18-19-20-21 cm / 6¼''-6¾''-7''-7½''-8''-8¼'' continue as follows: 5 dc on front band, 1-0-2-1-0-2 dc, repeat M.2 until 6-5-7-6-5-7 dc remain, finish with 1-0-2-1-0-2 dc
I don't get the 1-0-2-1-0-2 and the 6-5-7-6-5-7. Please shed some light if possible
thanks so much

in the side border, it says to skip a sc, and do 3 dc in the next 3 sc, then go back to the skipped sc and do another dc.
"2nd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). *Miss
next sc. 1 dc in each of next 3 sc. 1 dc
in missed sc. Rep from * to last sc.
1 dc in last sc. Turn"
Bought torn out patterns from a book only to discover part of direction gone. Need for one named BED OF ROSES. Any help greatly appreciated.
Patkis.
Hi, the pattern I'm working on calls for a dc in the side of the
single chain. What do they mean by "side" of sc? Thanks
