I am very frustrated. I have started this pattern three times and can't get the seam to go straight..it keeps wanting to go on the diagonal. Has anyone made this pattern or have any suggestions?
first please help, and next thank you so much in advance for your time and help.i have only made a granny squares afghan.my neighbor just had her first baby, and came home today. i dont like the granny square one for the baby. i found this pattern for the downy dream blanket, and loved it right away.i got started without much trouble, and got my first row done this morning. heres my trouble, i dont quite understand how to do the second row, or how to apply it correctly. my teacher that taught me so far is no longer available.
A pattern for a hat says to (dc, fpdc) in same stitch. How would you do this? fpdc around the stitch just made? I can't think of any other way to do this. Am I correct?

I need a crochet pattern for a open weave, light weight summer top to teach my students. I need it to fit a more mature figure. (no fitted waste or high waste) and it needs to have either cap sleeves or short dolman sleeves and will be taught to an intermediate class. HELP!!! I can't find anything.
Part of a new baby blanket pattern reads: skip 3 stitches, FPtr crochet around next stitch, go back and hdc behind in skipped stitches, hdc in next 2 sts. I keep trying this but it does not look like the photo at all so I must be doing something wrong. I am skipping 3 hdcs, FPtr around next stitch, then going back to the far right stitch, I am working hdc in the 3 skipped stitches (from right to left). Can you help me with this?
