I am re-learning to crochet after many, many years off. It doesn't all come back automatically. At first I had a problem, and still do somethings, with the ends get shorter as a crochet, but that's getting better. No the problem I have is, it seems that my crocheting turns into a circle. I am trying to crochet straight and flat, but it just ends up turning into a big circle. I have searched and searched for what is wrong and can find nothing. I am opening for suggestions and help ya'll!! :)
Hi
I would like to do bead knitting/crochet, with size 11 seed beads, can anyone help and tell me what size yarn/thread i need, and also what size needles/hook i need please, is there a chart or something i can read.
Many Thanks
Junie
I am relatively new to crocheting and when I mean new I mean I just started yesterday. I studied the book that I bought but it doesn't really explain reading patterns to much just mostly abbreviations. So I've started this pattern but I am stuck on RND 3. So this is the beginning of the pattern with some extra info.
Chocolate brown yarn held double
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc in second ch from hook. (6)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around. Join with a sl st. (12)
Rnd 3: Ch 3 (count as first dc), *dc inc, dc* five times, dc inc. Join with a sl st. (18)
I am trying to crochet a Wave afghan for my Mother In Law - the pattern is not matching up when I start the 2nd row. I have torn everything out and started over about 4 times and each time my first wave beginning the 2nd row is not properly aligned making the peak of my wave crooked! Granted I am new to crocheting and new to elements in the pattern so I could be doing something wrong! HELP!
Here is the pattern:
I'm crocheting the rose of Sharon tunic but having trouble decreasing as I'm not understanding the following:
beginning in same st work dc2tog-skip1, *dc in same st as last leg of dc2tog-skip 1, beginning in same st work dc2tog-skip1; repeat from *
I've figured out the dc2tog-skip1 but do not seem to decrease because I don't understand the "dc in same st as last leg of dc2tog-skip1". Help please. Thank you!
I will be teaching my first class in crochet soon and cannot find the patterns for either the skinny scarf or the smart phone cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I am making a baby blanket
The instructions state skip next 2 ch-1 sps (not understanding ch-1
Is this referring to the stitch?
Also (dc, ch1) 3 times in next ch-3 sp?
Please help
Thank you
I am making a pattern for a remote caddy and have gotten to a place where I'm not sure what it is telling me to do. The pattern states: Ch 3; * dc in next 27 dc, ch 1, dc in next 31 dc, ch 1, dc in next 27 dc; join with a sl st to first dc: 86 dc. Pull up a lp and drop after last rnd.
I am not sure what it means by 'pull up a lp and drop after last rnd.' Can anyone assist me please?
I posted a topic about the Bernat Camo Hoodie. I needed help with the sleeve part of it. If anyone could help, then please take a look at the camo hoodie that I posted a few days ago.
Thanks,
