Just wondering how many of us are still working through the certification projects.

I haven't taught any of the classes yet. I just got my access to the curriculum materials and was getting ready to make my samples for the first class. Class syllabus for the single crochet class specifies an H hook. The Skinny Scarf specifies an H hook. If I click on the picture of the Smart Phone Cover, the web page specifies an H hook for this too, but the PDF file with the pattern in it, which I would expect to use as the handout in class, specifies a G hook.

I am teaching in 2 stores that have only had the Wilton classes for several years.  After 2 demos per store, I still have no folks signing up for the classes.  I have made fliers with dates/times and hung them in the yarn department.  I know it's the holiday time, but I am really interested in starting off well with the classes.  The store managers are supportive and realize that we may have to cancel empty classes or have very small classes to begin.Has anybody found any success with class recruitment? 

Has anyone taught the side to side scarf?  I'm wondering how you handled teaching the 2nd and 3rd rows in the class time frame when there are 170 stitches per row.  I first taught the stitches and then had her start the scarf.  We ended up starting the 2nd row before the 1st row was done.  She did about 10" of the 2nd row then turned and started the 3rd row.  She'll have to take it out at home or start a new scarf.

The single crochet skinny scarf twists like a spiral, even after blocking.  Is this how it's supposed to be?  The project picture shows the scarf lying flat against the body, not twisted like a spiral.  How do I counter act the spiral?

Do we need a special code like the class code to clock in for demos?

You shared so much information with us on the recent calls, I wonder if you are going to condense all that was shared into an updated email? I have no idea what a MOOG is or how to access it. Also getting paid for classes is important...can you share with us how to do that? I tried to take notes but I want to make sure I have the right information.

I am looking for images and ideas to make my class signs interesting. What can I use?
